On Saturday 19th September, as summer draws to a close, the British Benevolent Association will be holding a traditional English summer fête in the garden of secretary Carol Knights’ home in Masies de Lloret just outside of Lloret de Mar.
There will be stands selling homemade cakes, plants and good quality bric-a-brac together with a bottle/can tombola and a grand raffle.
Side shows will include skittles, darts, treasure island, play your cards right and many more
If all of this is hungry work then sit down on the terrace and enjoy a traditional English cream tea of scones, butter, cream and home-made jam, or one of the many home made cakes together with a good old English cuppa. Ice creams will also be on sale for the children.
The gates will open at 3pm and parking is plentiful. Directions to Masies de Lloret can be found by turning into and passing through Urb Lloret Blau, which is situated, on the C63 Lloret/ Vidreres road.
